One of the most significant moments in Israel’s history was the moment the eternal dream realized and Israel declared its independence on May 14th 1948. Rudi Wessenstein was the official photographer that was granted the opportunity to seize this rare and priceless event.
In the photo we see David Ben-Gurion (First Prime Minister of Israel) publicly pronouncing the Declaration of the State of Israel, May 14 1948, Tel Aviv, Israel, beneath a large portrait of Theodor Herzl, founder of modern political Zionism, in the old Tel Aviv Museum of Art building on Rothschild Blvd.
For every person out there that Israel touches their hearts, this image would sure hold a great meaning. You have the opportunity to have an original copy of Rudi’s photograph.
Choose the proper size of the photograph and it will be shipped to you from Rudi’s photo house that is still located in Tel Aviv today.
